"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."

Music, that precious and beautiful creation of God, has the power to touch our hearts.  It is the perfect vehicle for God's Word and nowhere more appropriate than worship.  In both church and school, St. Michael provides numerous possibilities to explore, develop, and share our God-given musical gifts.

Worship is at the heart of our ministry.  St. Michael offers multiple worship opportunities to draw close to God, hear His Word, receive His gifts of forgiveness, faith and life, and respond with prayer, praise, thanksgiving and song.  We gather regularly as a community, sisters and brothers in the Family of God, building one another up, and being renewed and strengthened to carry out our calling.  We would love to have you join us.

St. Michael Musical Staff and Teachers

Mr. John Payne has a lifetime committed to the Christian ministry and he comes to St. Michael skillfully qualified with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from the state of Utah.  He also carries the title of Minister of Religion - commissioned in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  At St. Michael he divides his time between both church and school activities, classes, and events, offering multiple instruction levels for both children and adults.  Please join him in raising sounds of praise for our loving Lord!    Mr. Walt Kittel is our organist with many years of skilled experience, both as a teacher and as a musician, for our weekly Sunday services.  Mrs. Pam Thompson is our contemporary music leader for Wednesday and Saturday worship, plus she instructs and leads our school bands.
