As we spend time together you

church, and your family. You will find involvement

you, plus, giving you understanding to meet the
tough issues of today's life.

volunteers welcome an opportunity to meet you and
join in the journey of discovering and walking in
faith with you. Participate and do it for the

"Discovering God's Vision
for Your Life: You and Your
Spiritual Gifts"
Discovering
God's Vision for Your Life
is a comprehensive set of
integrated resources that
congregations can use to
help individuals discover
their spiritual gifts and
become involved in
gifts-related ministries.
The centerpiece of these
resources is an eight-hour
course that serves three
purposes: 1) discovering
your own spiritual gifts
using the Haugk Spiritual
Gifts Inventory, 2)
education about spiritual
gifts, calling, and
discipleship, and 3)
motivation for ministry.

Study (May-October 2008)
 "The
Miracle of Life Change "
by Chip Ingram The Saturday morning Men's
Ministry is asking for all men to join this
challenging new 10-week study as we explore
Biblically how God transforms His children. As we
struggle with being Christian in an ever increasing
un-Christian world this study is a must for every
man who struggles with sin, and wants to be all he
can be for his Savior. Please join us beginning
May 24th, on Saturday mornings at
9:00 -10:30 am in the ECALC building, Room #22, for a
tremendous personal spiritual growth opportunity.

What
issues are you struggling with in your life now?
Marriage, kids, career, moral values, something
else? Men, I don't know about you, but
there are a couple things I can tell you about
my walk with Christ that need to be changed, put
off, & grown in. Other areas my Lord has yet to
show me, and some I really don't seem to be able
to change. And you know what, I can keep evading
change in these areas as long as I can isolate
myself from God's Word, God's Spirit, & God's
men, my brothers at SMLCS, who will hold me
accountable. Jesus spoke to the heart of this
problem in John 8: 31& 32 "...if you
hold to my teaching you are really my disciples.
Then you will know the truth & the truth will
set you free." In other words, we must
come to him and his teachings for Truth. He
wants to free us from the entanglements of
habitual sin that hinders us from a life of
freedom He promises and really commands.
We
are challenging all men to join us Saturday
from 9:00 - 10:30 AM as we band together to
draw a line in the sand and take on the
Miracle of Life Change. Come join us for
this dynamic spiritual growth opportunity,
we're better together!
