About Life…

We believe that Problems and Conflicts are normal.

Resolving the problems and conflicts we all experience is a necessary first step in achieving a state of abundant living. Sometimes, people are so emotionally distraught or close to their problems that resolving them seems impossible.  We can help.

Resolving them isn't easy.

There are no pat answers or ready-made decisions handed out.  Rather, our goal is to provide a place where an individual can discover strengths and answers with biblical reasoning through interaction with a small group; led by a divorce recovery facilitator.    Within a comfortable setting, a plan is worked out to address your concerns.

Seeking direction can be the first step.

Feeling like there is trouble in your marriage today?  Wondering where the happiness went?   Thinking you can’t fix it?  Let us show you options to explore.  Your marriage doesn’t have to be forever broken.

You are not alone.  We offer a plan where you can discover untapped love for yourself and your spouse to heal your marriage  — and you can  find help if you face any challenges ahead in reconciliation.  We welcome your calls; please contact Julie Berchtold 239-939-4711 x 227 for more details and discussion.

DivorceCare offers a weekly seminar/support group for people who are separated or divorced.  It’s unique design includes help for those also considering separation or faced with a marriage that feels damaged.

It’s a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It’s a place where you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.

There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused to you, your family and your friends.  That's the reason for DivorceCare.  It's a series of support group/seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

There are two parts to each weekly DivorceCare session. During the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, the group watches a videotape featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics. These tapes contain valuable information about recovering from divorce and are produced in an engaging television magazine format.

Following the video, the participants spend time as a "support group," discussing what was presented on that week's videotape and what is going on in the lives of the group participants.
